document We had a cutter head (drum) break using your CF2228 full-width carbide cutters set-up in an all-cutter/no-spacer "fine" pattern, after approximately 18 hours applying a lot of downward pressure.
Setting up a drum in a fine set-up without spacers takes a toll even on the new drums. Adding spacers would definitely help reduce the amount of pressure that the full-width CF2228 cutters apply to the drum assembly.
