I own a SMITH FS200D and would like to remove thermoplastic pavement stripes.

Use the Flail-it, Strip-it, Scrape-it or Mill-it cutter drum assembly outfitted in a coarse offset spacing pattern.

The thicker the material, the more removal passes are required to assure that you are completely removing the heat-activated material from both the surface and the cutting drum. Use shallow passes and a dust collection vacuum or blower.
